The Maryland Board of Acupuncture provides online license verification. To begin a search, enter either the Last Name or the License Number. To do a wildcard search on the Last Name you can enter the first few characters in the name and click the search button. Search results may take a little time; please be patient.

The information on this page reflects the information in the Board’s License Management System, is updated daily and includes a date and time stamp.

A traditional, signed and sealed paper license verification is also available for $50. A VERIFICATION REQUEST can be submitted, with your receipt from Authorize.net, using this Google Form.

STATUS GLOSSARY

  • Inactive & Non-Renewed statuses means that the Licensee is not allowed to practice.
  • Reactivation (after being inactive) or Reinstatement (after not renewing on time) means that the Licensee is allowed to practice as long as the license expiration date reflects a date (May or November) in the future.
  • Probation means that the Licensee is complying with all Board requirements to continue to practice, and is being monitored for a specified period of time to ensure continued compliance.
  • Relinquish, Revocation, Surrender and Suspended all mean that the Licensee is not allowed to practice.

*License Relinquished is a non-disciplinary status.
**License Probation, Revocation, Surrender and Suspension are disciplinary statuses.
***If there is no date next to the status then the status does not apply.
