  • The Board of Acupuncture does not issue/print paper licenses. The search results provided by this public service is a primary verification source.   
  • The information populated by the this license verification tool, reflects the practitioner data in the Board’s License Management System, is updated daily and includes a date and time stamp.  
  • A traditional, signed and sealed paper license verification is also available for a fee - $50.   Please use this link to initiate the VERIFICATION REQUEST  process and to make the payment.

Status Glossary:

  • Inactive & Non-Renewed statuses means that the Licensee is not allowed to practice.
  • Probation means that the Licensee is complying with all Board requirements to continue to practice, and is being monitored for a specified period of time to ensure continued compliance.
  • Relinquished, Revoked, Surrendered and Suspended all mean that the Licensee is not allowed to practice.  
  • *Relinquished is a non-disciplinary status.  **Probation, Revocation, Surrender and Suspension are disciplinary statuses.
  • ***If there is no date next to the "Expiration Date" field  then it is not applicable to the status.
